How Bachelor Nations Cutest Couples Are Celebrating Fourth of July Weekend Here’s why U.S. struggles with the coronavirus could lead to Europe’s stock market taking the lead Aces expect superstar Cambage to sit out 2020 season

"‪In the evaluation of Liz Cambage’s health and preexisting risk factors with her team doctor, we believe her to be at high risk for severe illness if she contracts COVID-19 in participation of this WNBA season," Cambage's agent, Allison Galer, told theScore. "We are awaiting the league’s determination based on an independent physician panel."

In her first season with the Aces last year, the 6-foot-8 Cambage averaged 15.9 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game and was selected to the All-Star Game for the third time.

Cambage's absence enables the Aces to add center Avery Warley-Talbert, whose addition was announced prior to news of Cambage's decision. The 33-year-old veteran made three appearances with the New York Liberty last season.

Cambage is the second foundational player the Aces have lost ahead of the 2020 campaign. In June, the team announced that former No. 1 pick Kelsey Plum will miss the season after tearing her left Achilles tendon.

Coach Bill Laimbeer's team still enters the year with a number of proven talents, including 2019 All-Stars A'ja Wilson and Kayla McBride, reigning Sixth Woman of the Year Dearica Hamby, and five-time All-Star Angel McCoughtry, who was signed away from the Atlanta Dream this offseason.

FC Barcelona: Trial by fire for De Jong

FC Barcelona The Netherlands will be key on Saturday, with a reduced midfield

De Jong celebrates a goal. Kiko Hurtado

Frenkie de Jong He is about to complete his first season as a Barcelona player. The Netherlands was an important bet of the current Barça leaders. He was very close to finishing signing for him Manchester City instead of Bara, but an extra maneuver of Josep Maria Bartomeu managed to carry out the operation. That and the 75 million euros fixed plus another 11 in variables that Barcelona put on the table. When it seemed impossible, the Catalans scratched their pockets and gave a blow on the table.

After 40 games played with the Barcelona shirtDe Jong has not yet convinced. It is clear that the Netherlands has great soccer player builds, but he has still not managed to become the master and master of the midfield of Bara. To that end, he was signed, after he amazed Europe with his great season at Ajax in the 18-19 academic year. All in all, Frenkie has become an indisputable starter in this Barcelona. Few players arrive and achieve that in their first year. He has succeeded, but that is not enough. The club expects much more from him.

Did De Jong find out about the removal of ‘his’ Ajax? His face says it all

In his first matches as a team, a version similar to that of the player who stood out in Ajax could be seen. That De Jong who covered a lot of field, played fast and showed great mobility without a ball. However, with the passing of the games, he ended up catching the worst of the midfield of this Bara. That static and predictable game that the Culs have displayed throughout much of the season. The idea was for De Jong to infect his team with his momentum, but over the weeks, the opposite happened. The dynamics of Bara devoured the boy.

I am satisfied with my first season here, but not totally. I can do much better “

Frenkie de Jong (FC Barcelona player)

The player himself knows that he is still far from his best version. He understands that in his first year he has had to adapt to many things, but he is self-critical and he is the first who knows that he has to offer much more, have more gallons and give solutions to the team with and without a ball. “I am satisfied with my first season here, but not totally. I can do much better,” admits the player during the coronavirus break.

With the return of the Champions League and with Barcelona depleted in the center of the field by the losses of Arturo vidal and Sergio BusquetsIn addition to Arthur Melo’s flight to Brazil, De Jong appears as a key player for Saturday’s match. This is probably the party in which he has to assume more responsibilities since he arrived in Can Bara. You will not be worth the excuse with which Koeman He explained his poor performance a few months ago – “he’s playing out of his position.” Everything points to the fact that against Napoli the core is distributed with Rakitic and Sergi Roberto, the only ones available with a first team record.

Koeman: “De Jong is playing more ahead at Bara, he has to adapt”

Recovered from the Les in that made him miss eight games in the LaLiga home stretch, De Jong arrives at the Napoli event with his batteries charged. If there is a day to look like the Ajax player, that is this Saturday. Bara needs you. * l
