This year, Eid is not going to be the same for any one of us. Not even for the superstars of Bollywood. Before, every year at Eid, there was a sea of fans outside Shah Rukh Khan’s house in Bandra, Mumbai. This year, amid the coronavirus pandemic, this sight is far from reality. The actor took to his Twitter handle and shared a heartwarming wish for his fans on Eid, nevertheless.

He posted a picture of a silhouette of his youngest son AbRam Khan who is praying. Salman Khan’s Eid Mubarak Wish for Fans in the Times of COVID-19 Is Unmissable.

Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Eid Mubarak to everyone. May this day and actually everyday bring peace happiness and health to all your loved ones. Earlier, Salman Khan had also highlighted the virus outbreak with his Eid wish. He wrote Eid Mubarak next to a picture where he has covered his face with a cloth mask, reminding us to always wear a mask.

While Shah Rukh did not have any releases this year, Salman’s luck was not the same. His film Radhe was delayed from its May 2020 release. The actor is yet to finish the shoot.

There is more social distancing fun coming to NYC this fall! If you have already been to Greenpoint’s new Skyline Drive-In this summer and are ready for a new spin on watching movies, get ready for this floating cinema coming to NYC.

What’s Floating Cinema?

Floating Cinema is where friends and families and watch movies on the water while social distancing. The cinema will be made up of 12 to 24 mini boats, holding up to eight people per boat.

When is Floating Cinema Coming to New York?

Beginning on September 16th and lasting for just one week, Floating Cinema will be in New York!

Tickets and Movies

Tickets will require you to purchase the whole boat to ensure that groups will be seated with friends and family only, and to allow for social distancing on and between boats. Movies are set to be a mix between golden oldies and new releases but will be announced when tickets go on sale!

Snacks

Watching a movie isn’t complete without snacks! There will be free popcorn for everyone attending, and other movie snacks and drinks will be available to purchase before you head out on the water.
