    JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA) — A wildland fire broke out on Saturday afternoon in Jurupa Valley, leading to a response of more than 200 firefighters. The Karen Fire was reported just after 3 p.m. on Sierra Avenue and Karen Lane. The fire grew from approximately 5-10 acres to roughly 40 acres as of 4:50 p.m. Containment at last check was at 0% and 225 firefighters were on scene battling the fire. Cal Fire, Riverside County Fire Department and San Bernardino County Fire are battling the blaze. No injuries or structural damages have been reported, and no evacuations have been ordered.     SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA) — Authorities are asking for witnesses to come forward following a deadly shooting in the Cedar Pines Park area of San Bernardino County. Twin Peaks deputies responded to a shooting call in the 22400 block of Glenwood Drive Saturday afternoon just after 4 p.m. When they arrived, they located the victim who was later identified as Marc Angelucci. Angelucci, authorities said, was found non-responsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A motive for the shooting is unknown.     CRESTLINE (CBSLA) — A rock climber is recovering after falling from Crestline-area cliff and needing a hand from San Bernardino County Fire’s mountain crews.     FONTANA (CBSLA) — The recent spike in coronavirus cases has forced San Bernardino County officials to start getting the National Orange Show Events Center ready to be used as an emergency hospital. “We are beginning, for the first time, to move into what we refer to as surge capacity,” Dr. Troy Pennington, an emergency room doctor at Arrowhead Regional.     REDLANDS, Calif. -- Firefighters were battling a massive blaze that ripped through a large Amazon distribution center in Redlands Friday morning.Flames and thick smoke were seen shooting out of the roof and windows of the warehouse in the 2000 block of West Lugonia Avenue shortly after 5 a.m.The 10 Freeway near Mountain View Avenue was shut down as fire crews poured streams of water onto the flames, which appeared to engulf almost all of the massive structure.Amazon trucks near the building were also set ablaze.Authorities later allowed morning rush hour traffic to flow again on the 10 Freeway.No additional information was immediately released.
